Astro Industries was acquired by the Interconnect Solutions Group in 2025, the same year as the launch of Rayfast s.r.o. in Prague. The acquisition further strengthens ISG's North American presence and adds specialist capabilities to the group's growing US network alongside Rayfast USA and LJR Electronics.
Dayton, Ohio holds a unique place in aviation history — the home of the Wright Brothers and now one of the USA's most important aerospace and defence hubs. Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, one of the largest USAF installations in the country, is located in Dayton and drives significant demand for specialist interconnect products and solutions.
